Emma Grace
Senior Assistant Psychologist
Emma graduated from the University of Reading in 2019 with a BSc in Psychology and went on to complete an MSc in Neuroimaging for Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience in 2021.
Following this, Emma worked in a residential home supporting young people with learning difficulties. She then worked within a therapeutic interventions team at HMP Eastwood Park before joining a Crisis Interventions Team. Emma later worked as an Assistant Psychologist in Neuropsychology, supporting stroke survivors with cognitive rehabilitation. She subsequently travelled and co-founded a brain health initiative in Indonesia, educating young people about brain injury prevention. Alongside this, she has volunteered with Shout, providing text-based support to those in crisis.
Emma is particularly interested in forensic work with young people in custodial or high-risk settings, especially those who feel let down by services. She is motivated by rebuilding trust and engagement with adolescents through consistent, formulation-led practice.
