Andy is a Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years’ experience supporting children, young people, and families. Andy specialises in working with neurodivergent children and those with complex emotional or behavioural needs, including Autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Andy's focus is on helping families understand and respond to developmental and emotional challenges with compassion and clarity.
Andy has worked in highly specialist NHS services across Hertfordshire, Bristol and Gwent, providing assessments, formulations and evidence‑based interventions. Andy supports families, schools, care providers and multidisciplinary teams to make sense of behaviours of concern and to create environments where children can thrive. Andy's approach draws on behavioural, systemic, attachment and trauma‑informed models, alongside advanced training in Systemic Family Therapy, Circle of Security Parenting, and Positive Behaviour Support.
Andy develops strengths‑based, family‑centred plans for a wide range of needs, including anxiety, low mood, anger, sleep, ARFID, toileting and feeding difficulties. Andy is trained in the ADOS and ADI‑R and have extensive experience facilitating groups and workshops for families and professionals.
Andy's therapeutic style is creative, engaging and playful, always led by the child’s needs and the family’s goals. Andy also provides training on Autism, ADHD, learning disability, trauma, anxiety and behaviour, helping others build understanding and confidence.
